About Kristin Hatt
I love taking pictures! I also love the advent of digital cameras. Finally, I can control what the outcome is, and also the size of the framing! It was transformative.
Photography started for me when I was in my early twenties when my dad gave me his SLR camera. I made good use of it. But ultimately I wanted the opportunity to play with the images more, and film didn't give me that option.
Now, I can do all sorts of things, but find that I am just becoming better at taking pictures, framing the shot through the lens and being truly happy with the outcome. Sometimes though there are little things that need tweaking to make it a great shot -- something peeking in at the edges that distracts or maybe just a part of the frame is really the point.
On these pages are but a few of the many images that I have taken over the years, and I will continue to add more, as there are always more. . .
Please enjoy the images, and I encourage you to send your comments. I really appreciate them.
